As part of the Bali Blinds Costco microsite refresh, I led the effort to streamline and improve our product configuration process. Challenged to develop a more effective tool using the existing software system, my team created a solution that fulfills business needs and greatly improves the experience for our customers.
Images in the configurator were low quality and confusing for consumers.
All option images were simplified into clear line-art illustrations that were easier to manage and well-recieved by consumers.
Consumers that entered the configurator often lacked the thorough product knowledge and complicated measurements required to order window treatments.
Overhauled help text consolidated actionable, clear direction and recommendations behind a single question—in the consumer's voice.
